I’m going to be helping out with audio and video tasks for the 29th Annual G.K. Chesterton Conference hosted by the American Chesterton Society on Aug 5-7, 2010. This is going to be held on the campus of Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, MD. The American Chesterton Society is doing all it can to “revive an interest in the most unjustly neglected writer of the 20th century, a writer who seems more timely than ever here in the 21st century.”
President of the society is Dale Ahlquist, host of the popular “The Apostle of Common Sense” television series on Chesterton originally produced for EWTN.
The conference speakers include
- Tom Martin (Philosophy Professor at University of Nebraska-Kearney)
- David Zach (Futurist)
- Richard Aleman (Editor of The Distributist Review)
- Nancy Brown (Author and ACS Blogmistress)
- James Woodruff (Mathematics Instructor at Worcester Academy)
- Fr. Peter Milward (Professor Emeritus from Sophia University, Tokyo)
- Prof. Joseph Pearce (Author)
- James O’Keefe (Independent Video Journalist)
